Il canto dell’altalena. L’oscillazione della figura tra il gioco e il mito, seguito da La tela di Penelope

15.00

This first publication in the Orto series marks and illuminates an important path, opening with a co-edition between Al3viE and Pièdimosca Edizioni (Semi series).

A rich, unique, and special project that brings together the two publishing houses and the author herself, Anna Maria Farabbi, under the sign of collaboration, unity, and the sharing of experiences, values, and knowledge—knowledge that always requires a constant, attentive, and meticulous effort along one’s personal and professional journey, in order to welcome and return it to the other, to others.

The work, written in a narrative style yet always sustained by lyrical tension and accent, traverses gender thought, delving into the roots of the West. Within the meshes of childhood games and the figurative orchestras of myth, kindred dynamics intertwine. Language, in its phonetic and semantic portraits, is illuminated down to the capillaries of silence. Farabbi brings us the Sirens, Tiresias, Penelope, Antigone, Cassandra, and Medea as constellations, overturning the traditional interpretative canons.

In the closing pages of the book, a link and a QR code allow readers to download free audio content—extracts from the text read by the author herself.

Between song and myth, from the author’s voice – from Il canto dell’altalena

Description

What is this song that hovers in the figurative synthesis of the Minoan clay figurine from Crete?

My work has only one intentional root: to enter into the origin of Western song. Of Western poetry that is born from myth. To enter into its deepest depth and discern its substances.

This work uncovers my seabed and some of that of myth. It plucks the Aeolian harp of language, leaving its resonance in the labyrinth of ears and of rumination.
