Stellezze

Paola Febbraro was born on January 9, 1956, in Marsciano, in the province of Perugia. She died on May 22, 2008, in Rome.

Among her poetry publications we recall Turbolenze in aria chiara, with which she was a finalist for the Laura Nobile Prize in 1993; A fratello Stefano (La Volpe e l’Uva, 2000); La Rivoluzione è solo della Terra (Manni, 2002), winner of the Renato Giorgi Prize.

Among her editorial work and essays:
Amelia Rosselli: Lezioni e Conversazioni, for the journal Galleria in the monographic issue dedicated to Rosselli (48, 1-2, 1997); Ecchime. Antologia sinfonia, an anthology of stories and poems by Victor Cavallo (Stampa Alternativa, 2003); Dell’io e del tu senza corpo nella poesia delle donne, a “patchwork project” on women’s poetic writing proposed by Gruppo ’98 poesia of Bologna, January 12–30, 2004.

She published experimental short stories in Frigidaire and poems in numerous journals, wrote many texts for radio, and worked as assistant director and playwright.

In 2008, Turbolenze in aria chiara was published posthumously by Empirìa, and in 2012 Stellezze by Lietocolle, here republished in the Arca series for Al3viE and Pièdimosca Edizioni.
